The Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City has 87 rooms to host families in times of incredible stress and worry. For their biggest fundraising drive of the year, Red Shoe Shindig, we wanted to celebrate the communities of families calling these rooms home.

For the invitation to the event, I created an illustrated collage of paint, handwritten notes and photos to bring to life the neighborhood that RMHC-KC calls home. As the invitation unfolded, illustrated windows housing photos of real families that have stayed at one of the houses.

I also created the program for the event, which gave me the opportunity to further expand the collage and illustrations created for the invitation.
