BON AMI POWDER CLEANSER
2018

A SIMPLE GREEN CLEAN

A powder cleanser with decades of history, Bon Ami needed a refresh to appeal to the modern green cleaning audience. I lead the evolution of the brand’s digital image, which resulted in a resurgence of the product after multiple year over year declines.

Website Design, Art Direction, Branding

With the confines of needing to keep the current logo and packaging, I evolved the digital expressions of Bon Ami with an easily expanded upon badge system, Bon Ami’s version of seals of approval. Paired with an updated color palette that embraced deep hues, Bon Ami’s visuals stood apart from the rest of the powder cleanser market.

The Bon Ami website was the culmination of all of my changes to the brand. A completely revised website needed to communicate both how to use the product as well as its history of cleaning without harsh chemicals. After exploration, I landed on a simple layout with intense pops of the new brand colors.

To activate this new campaign, we leaned on all types of influencers. Our biggest influencer was Jade Roper Tolbert, a Bachelor-series star, new mom, and green cleaner. I art directed two videos starring Jade: one focused on spring cleaning and the other on the holidays.

For our micro influencers and media relations, I created media kit boxes to send product and cleaning tips. The boxes carried the look and feel, surrounded by badges and bold pops of color.
